PENERAPAN MEDIA LINGKUNGAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS DI KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

 

Abstrak:Jenis penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari 2 siklus. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan melalui 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi.Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Ngimbangan Kecamatan Mojosari-Mojokerto.Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, dan tes.Data hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa dianalisis dalam bentuk persentase.Data tes hasil belajar siswa dianalisis berdasarkan persentase ketuntasan belajar secara individu dan klasikal kemudian dijabarkan secara deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase aktivitas guru dan siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II. Aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan sebesar 7,32% yaitu dari 89,55% pada siklus I menjadi 96,87% pada siklus II. Sedangkan aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 8%, yaitu dari 82% pada siklus I menjadi 90% pada siklus II.Hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa kelas IV SDN Ngimbangan Kecamatan Mojosari-Mojokerto mengalami peningkatan.Ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal mengalami peningkatan sebesar 24%, yaitu dari 64% pada siklus I menjadi 88% pada siklus II.Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media lingkungan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract: This research consisted of two cycles and each cycles consisted of three stages namely planning, implementation/ observation, and reflection. Data that collected from this resarch there are teacher activity, student activity, student learning result and also student respond to the applied of environment media.Research design that applied classroom action research based on problem that appears on learning process. Class action research performed collaboratively between researcher and teacher that role as observer. Every cycle in this research consisted of three stages namely planning, implementation/ abservation, and reflection.Data collecting technique were observation, test and questioer. Observation result on research implementation show the improvement of teacher activity mean on first cycle 89,55% and on second cycle as big as 96,87%. The result of student activity experienced improvement from first cycle as big as 82% to 90% on second cycle. Meanwhile, student learning result also experienced improvement that showed by class mean score on firstcycle as big as 62,88% to 88%. And also for student psychomotor scoring, increase from first cycle as big as 65,75% and on the second cycle as big as 85,25%. Student respond result obtaining result as big as 72% on first cycle and increase to 96,64% on second  cycle.From the research result it was concluded that the applied of environment media was able to improve learning activity and student learning result on four grade students of State Elementary School Ngimbangan especially on social studies
