PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran IPA di SDN Plosokerep Sumobito Jombang dalam proses belajar mengajar di kelas V informasi diberikan begitu saja oleh guru sehingga siswa kurang aktif. Selain kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran siswa juga cenderung kurang bisa bekerjasama dan diskusi kelompok dengan teman dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran, sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengerjakan soal ulangan harian yang hasilnya tidak memuaskan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa di kelas V. Model tersebut sangat baik digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan siswa bisa lebih aktif dalam diskusi kelompok. Selain itu siswa mudah memahami materi sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan proses belajar mengajar dan mendiskripsikan hasil belajar siswa setelah diberi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Penulis menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan. Hal ini dapat diketahui melalui aktivitas guru menurun 3,75%. Aktivitas siswa meningkat 17,77%. Hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif meningkat 16,67%. Hasil belajar siswa ranah psikomotor meningkat 20,21%. Hasil belajar siswa ranah afektif pada keterampilan berkarakter meningkat 24,99%. Hasil belajar siswa ranah afektif pada keterampilan sosial meningkat 26,22%. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan proses belajar mengajar dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA kelas V SDN Plosokerep Sumobito Jombang.

Abstract: Learning the natural science in State Elementary School Plosokerep Sumobito Jombang in teaching learning proces in grade 5 the information given granted by the teacher so that students are less active. Besides less active in student learning are also less likely to be working and group discussions with other friends in achieving the learning objectives, so that students have difficulties in daily test questions that the results are not satiofed. To overcome this problem the use of cooperative learning model of type STAD to improve learning result of students in natural science in grade 5. The model is used well in teaching and students can be more active in group discussions. In addition it is easy to understand the material so that students can improve learning result.This study aimed to describe in theacing learning proces and describe the result of learning the students after being given listens by using cooperative learning model of type STAD. The study is conducted is classroom action research. The study consisted of two cycles, and each cycle consisted of two meetings. The author used data collection techniques by using observation and test techniques.The results of showed an increase. This can be known through the theacher activities declined 3,75%. The student activities increased 17,77%. The result of students cognitive increased 16,67%. The results of students phsychomotor increased 20,21%. The result of the students in the affective domain on character skills increased 24,99%. The result of the students in the affective domain on social skills increased 26,22%. Based on statement above, it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model of type STAD can improve the teaching learning proces and the result of students in learning natural science in grade 5 SDN Plosokerep Sumobito Jombang.
