PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF SNOWBALL THROWING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SDN JEMUNDO II TAMAN SIDOARJO

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti menemukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Jemundo II Taman Sidoarjo pada mata pelajaran IPS masih rendah. Hal ini karena pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru dan dalam mengajar lebih banyak menggunakan metode ceramah sehingga siswa sulit dalam memahami materi karena tidak terlibat secara aktif dalam pembelajaran IPS. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas guru dan siswa, meningkatkan hasil belajar belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran Interaktif Snowball Throwing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pengumpulan melalui observasi, pengumpulan data tes. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa. Teknik analisi yang digunakan yaitu deskripyif kuantitaif dengan persentase. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Jemundo II Taman Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Interkatif Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta hasil belajar siswa. Secara klasikal hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan persentase nilai yang diperoleh pada siklus I sebesar 65,8%, pada siklus II sebesar 78,93% dan siklus II 84,2%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Interaktf Snowball Throwing dapat meningktakan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas V SDN Jemundo II Taman Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Based on the results of the study, researchers was found that learning result at fifth grade of Jemundo II elementary school Taman Sidoarjo on social studies waslow. This is because the learning process was still centered on the teacher and the teaching methods more using the lecture so that students understand the difficult material because it is not actively involved in social studies. The aim of the research was to incrase the activity of teacher and student learning outcomes learning, students with interactive learning model Snowball Throwing. The research method used was with CAR (Classroom Activity Research). Accumulation data techniques used observation and  test. The instruments used are observation sheet activity of teacher and student activity. Technical data analysis used descriptive quantitative with percentage. The subject of the research is the fifth grade SDN Jemundo II Taman Sidoarjo. The research results showed that with the application of indicates that the application of the model of learning Interkatif Snowball Throwing can be incrase the activities of teachers and students, as well as the results of student learning. As a result of classical learning of students has increased by a percentage value obtained in first cycle was 65.8%, in second cycle was 78,93% and the third cycle was 84.2%. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the model of learning Interaktf Snowball Throwing can incrase learning outcomes of students in social science subjects in class V SDN Jemundo II Taman Sidoarjo.
