PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV SDS BAHREISY SURABAYA

Abstract

Abstrak: Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA karena ketidaktepatan model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru masih merupakan sumber informasi, pembelajaran berpusat pada guru dan guru terpancang pada buku paket sehingga siswa tidak aktif dalam pembelajaran. Metode penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan observasi dan tes. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDS Bahreisy Surabaya. Dengan jumlah siswa 27 anak, 15 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempuan Penelitian  dilaksanakankan di SDS Bahreisy Surabaya. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrument penelitian , instumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi observasi dan tes. Untuk mengukur aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa digunakan observasi sedangkan untuk siswa menggunakan alat evaluasi dalam bentuk tes. Teknik  analisis untuk data observasi dan tes menggunakan teknik kuantitatif. Aktivitas guru telah meningkat dari siklus I dengan persentase 65,4%,pada siklus II dengan persentase 89,3%. Aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran  menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada siklus I dengan persentase 66,8% dan siklus II dengan persentase 87,3%. Ketuntasan klasikal siswa pada siklus I sebesar 70,4% dan pada siklus II sebesar 93,3%. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan  model pembelajaran model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa dan  hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract: The background of this research is the low learning outcomes of students in science subjects because of inaccuracies in the learning model used by teachers in the learning process. Teachers are still a source of information, learning, teacher-centered and teacher fixed in textbooks so that students are not active in learning. Action research method uses observation and tests. Subjects were fourth grade students SDS Bahreisy Surabaya. With the number of students 27 children, 15 male students and 12 female students study underway in SDS Bahreisy Surabaya. Data gathered through the research instrument, research instrument used include observation and tests. To measure the activities of teachers and students to use observation activities for students while using an evaluation tool in the form of a test. Data analysis techniques for observation and tests using quantitative techniques. Activities of teachers has increased from the first cycle with a percentage 65.4%, in the second cycle with a percentage 89.3%. Activities of students during the learning process show an increase in the first cycle with a percentage of 66.8% and a second cycle with a percentage 87.3%. Classical completeness students in the first cycle of 70.4% and 93.3% for the second cycle. This study concluded that the implementation of learning model type STAD cooperative learning model to improve teacher activity, student activity and student learning outcomes.
