Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Snowball Throwing Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas V SDI Hasyim Asyari Blitar

Berdasarkan hasil observasi, menunjukkan bahwa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran IPS guru belum menerapkan model pembelajaran yang inovatif, sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V yang masih rendah. Adapun tujuan peneilitian yang ingin di capai adalah mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, hasil belajar IPS , serta mendiskripiskan kendala-kendala yang dialami selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan. Pada siklus I presentase keterlaksanaan mencapai dari 97,9% dan pada siklus II mencapai 100%. Nilai ketercapaian juga mengalami peningkatan, dari 77,4 menjadi 88,5. Ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar IPS juga mengalami peningkatan. Pada ranah kognitif dari 68,7% menjadi 87,5%.Dari hasil penelitan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada pelaksanaan penerapan pembelajaran, hasil belajar IPS siswa serta kendala-kendala selama proses pembelajaran dapat teratasi.

Abstract

Based on the observation, it shows that in the learning activity of social studies teachers have not applied innovative learning model, so that the impact on the IPS student learning outcomes of grade V is still low. The purpose of research that want to be achieved is to describe the implementation of learning, learning results of social studies, and to describe the constraints experienced during the implementation of learning by applying cooperative learning model of snowball throwing type. This study uses collaborative classroom action research methods that are implemented in 2 cycles. The results showed an increase. In the first cycle of implementation reaches from 97.9% and in cycle II reaches 100%. The value of achievement also increased, from 77.4 to 88.5. The classical completeness of social studies learning result also increased. In the cognitive domain of 68.7% to 87.5%. From the results of research can be concluded that there is an increase in the implementation of the application of learning, learning outcomes social studies students and the constraints during the learning process can be resolved.
