PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TALKING STICK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar IPS setelah pembelajaran talking stick. Subyek penelitian ini siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 20. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan tiga tahapan yaitu 1)Perencanaant, 2)Pelaksanaan dan Pengamatan, 3)Refleksi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh aktivitas guru pada siklus I memperoleh persentase sebesar 78% dan siklus II sebesar 89%. Kemudian aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 77% dan siklus II sebesar 86%. Persentase hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh pada siklus I sebesar 75% dan pada siklus II sebesar 90%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran koopertif tipe talking stick dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V SDN Mlaras Sumobito Jombang.Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Talking Stick, Hasil Belajar, dan IPS.
AbstractThe aim of this study is to describe teaching - learning process and the result after talking stick method is applied into Social Knowledge subject. The subjects of this study were 20 pupils of 5th grade. Experimental study is used as research design by using three provided stages; 1) preparation, 2)implementation and observation, and 3) implication. The result shows that teaching activity was increased from 78% in the first sequence to 89% in the second sequence. Students’ learning activity also showed improvement from 77% in the first sequence to 86% in the second sequence. Moreover, learning results increased from 75% in the first sequence to 90% in the second sequence. Therefore, it can be implied that the use of talking stick method as cooperative learning can improve the learning results for Social Knowledge subject in 5thgraders at SDN Mlaras Sumobito jombang.Keywords: Talking Stick Learning Method, Learning Achievement, and Social Studies.
