PENGGUNAAN MODEL PROBLEM SOLVING DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA MATEMATIKA DI SD AL HIKMAH SURABAYA

Permasalahan yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini adalah kesulitan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika sehingga guru menggunakan model problem solving agar peserta didik menjadi lebih mudah memahami maksud dari soal cerita tersebut dan dapat menyelesaikannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru matematika, peserta didik, dan wali murid kelas 4 dengan teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan dengan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi penggunaan model problem solving yang baik akan dapat menyelesaikan masalah, dengan hambatan dan upaya yang dilakukan akan semakin bertambah baik hasil yang di dapatkan.

Abstract

The problems found in this research is the difficulty of students in completing mathematics narrative question so that teachers use problem solving model for that students become easier to understand the meaning of the question and can solve it. This research is conducted by research subjects are principal, math teacher, students, and the parents of grade 4 students with data collection technique is interview, observation, and documentation study. This research belongs to the qualitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that planning, implementation, evaluation of the application problem solving model will be able to solve the narrative question, with the obstacles and efforts made will be the better the results obtained.
