Pengembangan LKS Berbasis Learning Cycle 5e untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan LKS berbasis model pembelajaran learning cycle 5e untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas IV SDN Babatan I Surabaya. Sampel yang digunakan 7 siswa kelas IVA sebagai uji coba skala kecil dan 30 siswa kelas IVB sebagai uji coba skala luas. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, observasi, dan tes. LKS berbasis model pembelajaran learning cycle 5e memenuhi prosedur Research and Development dengan 10 tahapan. LKS yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dengan presentase 87,06%, kepraktisan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memeroleh 85,55%, dan keefektifan hasil belajar dengan peningkatan rata-rata pretest ke posttest yaitu 76 ke 89,7 sebesar 13,6.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of developing worksheet based 5e learning cycle learning model to improve student learning outcomes of fourth grade Primary School. Type of research which is used Research and Development (R&D) with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study is the fourth grade of SDN Babatan I Surabaya. The sample is used by 7 students of class IVA as a small-scale trial and 30 students of class IVB as a large-scale trial. Data collection uses questionnaires, observations, and tests. Worksheet based on 5e learning cycle learning model fulfills Research and Development procedure with 10 stages. The developed worksheet is valid with the percentage of 87.06%, the practicality of learning implementation achieves 85.55%, and the effectiveness of the learning outcomes with the Average increase of pretest to posttest is 76 to 89.7 by 13.6.
