Permasalahan yang diteliti diambil melalui observasi yang dilakukan pada sekolah dasar dimana siswa kesulitan memahami pembelajaran salah satu materi pelajaran matematika. Permasalahan tersebut terjadi karena kurangnya penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran. Namun sekolah memiliki potensi fasilitas laboratorium komputer yang masih kurang pemanfaatannya. Dari permasalahan tersebut peneliti melakukan penelitian untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran CAI untuk membantu kesulitan siswa memahami materi pembelajaran sekaligus memaksimalkan fungsi laboratorium komputer di sekolah. Peneliti menggunakan model pengembangan tahapan Research & Development Sugiyono namun hingga tahap ke-9 saja. Dalam penelitian tersebut, peneliti menghasilkan media pembelajaran CAI yang yang telah melalui tahap validasi dengan tingkat kevalidan 75% validasi ahli materi, 84% validasi ahli media, 93% pada uji terbatas, 97% hasil angket guru kelas, 87% ui pemakaian, 93% perbandingan nilai.

Abstract

The problems studied were taken through through observations made in primary schools where students had difficulty understanding the learning of one of the mathematics subject matter. The problem occurs due to lack of media use in learning. But schools have the potential of computer lab facilities that are still less utilization. From these problems researchers conduct research to develop learning media CAI to help students understand the difficulty of learning materials as well as maximize the function of computer labs in schools. Researchers use the development stage model of Sugiyono Research & Development but until the 9th stage only. In this study, the researcher produced a CAI learning media that has been through validation stage with the validity level of 75% validation of the material expert, 84% validation of media experts, 93% in the limited test, 97% result of teacher class questionnaire, 87% usage test, 93% comparison of values.
