PENGARUH MODEL EXPERIENTAL LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA KELAS IV DI SDN WARUGUNUNG I SURABAYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model experiental learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi sifat-sifat cahaya kelas IV SDN Warugunung I Surabaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan metode quasi experimental design dan dengan jenis non-equvalent control group design. Populasi yang digunakan yaitu seluruh siswa SDN Warugunung I Surabaya dan menggunakan purposive sampling dengan memilih kelas IV sebagai anggota sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Uji instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji t, dan uji n-gain ternormalisasi. Hasil uji n-gain ternormalisasi yaitu rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,40 sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,07. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari model experiental learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of experiental learning model on science learning outcomes of light class IV SDN Warugunung I Surabaya. The type of research used is experimental with quasi experimental design method and with non-equvalent control group design type. The population use is all students of SDN Warugunung I Surabaya and use purposive sampling by choosing class IV as a sample member. Technique of collecting data using test technique. The instrument test uses validity and reliability test, while the data analysis technique uses normality test, homogeneity test, t test, and normalized n-gain test. The result of normalized n-gain test is the average of experimental class learning result is 0,40 while control class is 0,07. It can be concluded that there is influence of experiential learning model to student learning results.
