PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TWO STAY TWO STRAY TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA PADA SISWA KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh model TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray) terhadap hasil belajar siswa SDN di Gugus 01 Sidoarjo. Jumlah responden 62 siswa yang terbagi menjadi dua kelas pada dua sekolah yang berbeda, yaitu 31 siswa di kelas IVA SDN Pucang 4 (kelas eksperimen) dan 31 siswa di kelas IVB SDN Pucang 3 (kelas kontrol). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan bentuk desain eksperimen semu jenis nonequivalent control group. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan adanya pengaruh model TSTS terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini diketahui dari hasil t-test peserta didik (thitung) sebesar 2.487 yang dibandingkan dengan ttabel dengan db= 60 sebesar 2.000 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Jadi terdapat pengaruh positif dengan diterapkannya model TSTS terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of TSTS model on the learning outcomes of the elementary school students in cluster 01 Sidoarjo. There are 62 samples which divided into two classes from two different schools, 31 students from grade IVA SDN Pucang 4 as the experimental group, while 31 students from grade IVB SDN Pucang 3 is the controlled group. This research is an experimental research with a quasi-experimental design, using a nonequivalent control group design. Based on the result, it can be concluded that there is effect of TSTS model to student learning outcomes. The result showed that the tcount is 2.487 which compared to ttable (db= 60) of 2.000 with significant level 5%. So, there is a positive effect with the application of TSTS model to student learning outcomes.
