PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS DI SDN JABARAN SIDOARJO

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together pada pelajaran IPS. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru pada Siklus I sebesar 68,75% meningkat menjadi 85% pada Siklus II, aktivitas siswa pada Siklus I sebesar 71,25% meningkat menjadi 86,25% pada Siklus II, dan hasil belajar siswa pada Siklus I sebesar 56% meningkat menjadi 88% pada Siklus II. Dari data hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together dapat meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the activities of teacher and students, and student’s learning outcomes by using Numbered Head Together teaching model for social subject. The type used by this study is classroom action research which conducted for 2 cycles. The result of this study showed that the teacher’s activity in the first cycle is 68,75% become 85% in the second cycle, the student’s activity in the first cycle is 71,25% become 86,25% in the second cycle, and the result of the student’s learning outcomes in the first cycle 56% become 88% in the second cycle. From these data, it can be concluded that the implementation of Numbered Head Together teaching model can improve learning activities and student’s learning outcomes.
