Implementasi Kurikulum Cambridge dalam Pembelajaran Matematika di SD Khadijah 3 Surabaya

Abstract

Abstrak

Di Indonesia perubahan kebijakan kurikulum terus terjadi karena dianggap belum sesuai dengan harapan sehingga beberapa sekolah menerapkan kurikulum internasional dalam pembelajaran. Kurikulum Cambridge menitikberatkan pada pemahaman, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan siswa berpikir kritis, dan pembelajaran berbasis pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Implementasi Kurikulum Cambridge dalam pembelajaran Matematika di SD Khadijah 3 Surabaya. Metode analisis data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Subyek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Waka Kurikulum, guru, dan siswa kelas IV. Hasil peneilitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) perencanaan implementasi kurikulum Cambridge diantaranya mengikuti seminar dan workshop, dokumen kurikulum, dan sarana prasarana. 2) pelaksanaan implementasi kurikulum Cambridge dilakukan melalui kegiatan perencanan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran sesuai dengan kompetensi guru. 3) evaluasi implementasi kurikulum Cambridge dilakukan melalui evaluasi internal dan evaluasi peserta didik. Adapun kendala telah diatasi dengan berbagai upaya sehingga kurikulum Cambridge dalam pembelajaran Matematika di SD Khadijah 3 Surabaya telah diimplementasikan dengan baik.

Abstract

In Indonesia, curriculum policy is keep changing since they are considered incompatible with the desired expectations, therefore some schools apply international curricula in learning. The Cambridge curriculum focuses on students understanding, knowledge, and critical thinking skills, and based learning problem-solving. This study aims to find out the Cambridge Curriculum Implementation in learning mathematics in SD Khadijah 3 Surabaya. Data analysis method using triangulation technique. The research subjects in this study are Headmaster, Vice Headmaster, fourth grade teachers, and fourth grade students. The results of this research indicate that 1) Cambridge curriculum implementation planning includes Cambridge seminars and workshops, curriculum documents, and infrastructure facilities. 2) implementation of Cambridge curriculum is conducted through planning activities, implementation, and evaluation of learning in accordance with teacher competence. 3) evaluation of Cambridge curriculum implementation is done through internal evaluation and evaluation of learners. The obstacles have been overcome with efforts so that the Cambridge Curriculum in mathematics learning at SD Khadijah 3 Surabaya had been implemented well.
