PENGARUH TIME TOKEN ARENDS TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATA PELAJARAN IPS KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari model pembelajaran Time Token Arends terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV di SDN 2 Kedamean Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Kedamean Gresik. Adapun sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A berjumlah 24 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV B berjumlah 23 sebagai kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata pada posttest kelas kontrol 74,04 dan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 85,04. Hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis yang menggunakan uji t atau t-test diperoleh angka tersebut lebih kecil dari α=0,05 (sig.(2-tailed)0,000<0,05) sehingga hasil yang diperoleh adalah Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Sehingga dapat dikatakan ada pengaruh model pembelajaran time token arends terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS yang dilihat dari nilai pretest dan posttest pada kelas IV di SDN 2 Kedamean Gresik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Time Token Arends learning model on students critical thinking skills on IPS subjects of grade IV students in SDN 2 Kedamean Gresik. This research uses quantitative research type with experiment approach. The population of this research is the fourth grade students of SDN 2 Kedamean Gresik. The sample of this study is the students of class IV A amounted to 24 students as the experimental class and class IV B amounted to 23 students as the control class. The mean score of the posttest in the Scontrol class was 74.04 and in the experimental class was 85.04. The result of the hypothesis test using t test or t-test obtained that the number is smaller than α = 0,05 (sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 <0,05) so that the result acquired is Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be said that there is influence of time token arends learning model on students critical thinking ability on IPS subject which is seen from pretest and posttest score in class IV in SDN 2 Kedamean Gresik.
