PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PROBING PROMPTING LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS III SDN LAKARDOWO

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pengaruh penerapan model probing prompting learning terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas III SDN Lakardowo Jetis Mojokerto. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian yaitu kelas III-A dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 20 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas III-B dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 20 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes (pretest dan posttest). Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata nilai pretest kelas eksperimen sebesar 64,75 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 68,5. Dan hasil rata-rata posttest pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 87,25 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 79,75. Dilihat dari hasil uji t-test dengan menggunakan rumus uji Independent Sample T Test menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel (2,438 > 2,024), yang dapat dinyatakan bahwa HO ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model probing prompting learning terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the effect of implemeting probing prompting learning model to the learning outcomes of third graders of SDN Lakardowo Jetis Mojokerto. The type of research is experimental research. The research design is nonequivalent control group design. The sample in the research is III-A class with 20 students as experimental class and III-B class with 20 students as control class. The data collection technique used is test (pretest and posttest). From the research result, the average value of pretest of experiment class is 64,75 while in control class 68,5. And the average result of posttest in the experimental class is 87,25 while in the control class is 79,75. Noticed from the result of t-test by using Independent Sample T Test formula show that tcount> ttable (2,438> 2,024), which can be stated that HO is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence from the application of probing prompting learning model to student learning outcomes in Social subject.
