AbstractAbstrak

Permasalahan pada penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara di SDN Lidah Wetan II/ 462 Surabaya dimana siswa kesulitan memahami pembelajaran IPA salah satunya materi zat tunggal dan campuran, siswa mudah lupa dengan materi, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa masih rendah. Permasalahan ini timbul dikarenakan kurangnya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Namun sekolah memiliki potensi sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Akhirnya, peneliti memutuskan untuk memilih solusi alternatif yaitu mengembangkan media pembelajaran animasi flash dengan strategi pembelajaran MURDER. Kelayakan media ditinjau dari tiga aspek, yaitu validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Desain penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development menurut Sugiyono namun hingga pada tahap ke- 6 saja. Sampel penelitian yakni kelas VC dengan 39 siswa. Hasil penelitian yaitu, (1) validitas media 88,75%, (2) kepraktisan media dari hasil angket respon siswa 84,42% dan hasil angket respon guru 88,75%, (3) efektivitas media, yakni nilai rata-rata post-test siswa 79,1, persentase ketuntasan siswa 76,9%, dan rata- rata n-gain 0,64.

Abstract

The problems in the research were obtained through observation and interview at SDN Lidah Wetan II / 462 Surabaya where the students had difficulties in understanding the science lesson one of the materials of single and mixed substances, the students easily forgot the material, and the critical thinking skill of the students was still low. This problem arises due to lack of utilization of technology in the use of learning media. But schools have the potential of adequate facilities and infrastructure. Finally, researchers decided to choose an alternative solution that is developing flash animation learning media with learning strategy MURDER. Media feasibility is reviewed from three aspects, namely validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Research design used Research and Development according to Sugiyono but up to the 6th stage only. The research sample is VC class with 39 students. The result of research are (1) media validity 88,75%, (2) media practicality from student response result 84,42% and result of questionnaire teacher response 88,75%, (3) media effectiveness, that is average value of post -test students 79.1, percentage mastery of students 76.9%, and average n-gain 0.64.
