PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COURSE REVIEW HORAY (CRH) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV SDN GILANG I PADA MATERI PENGGOLONGAN HEWAN BERDASARKAN JENIS MAKANANNYA

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA yang masih berada dibawah KKM. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang disajikan selama ini hanya berpusat kepada guru dan buku paket sehingga terasa membosankan bagi siswa. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian mengenai pengaruh model pembelajaran Course Review Horay (CRH) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Gilang I pada materi penggolongan hewan berdasarkan jenis makanannya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design yang bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil belajar dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari kelas kontrol yaitu 85,75 sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya 73,3. Dari hasil uji t-test juga didapatkan hasil Sig. (2-tailed) yang lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi yang ditetapkan yaitu 0,005 < 0,05. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru juga menunjukkan hasil dengan kategori baik. Semua hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Course Review Horay berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Gilang I pada materi penggolongan hewan berdasarkan jenis makanannya

Abstract: This research is based on students learning outcomes in science subjects which are still under KKM. This is caused by the lessons presented so far only centered on the teacher and the package book so it feels boring for students. Therefore, research on the effect of learning model of Course Review Horay (CRH) on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN Gilang I on animal class material based on the type of food. The type of research used experimental Quasi Experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design that aims to compare the learning outcomes of two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. Data collection techniques used are observation and test. The results showed that the averages value of posttest experimental class is greater than control class that is 87,75 while control class only 73,3. From the results of t-test also obtained Sig results. (2-tailed) which is smaller than the specified significance level is 0,005 < 0,05. The results of teacher activity observation also showed good category results. All of these results show that the Course Review Horay learning model positively affects the fourth grade student’s outcomes of SDN Gilang I on animal class material based on the type of food.
