PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TALKING STICK TEMA 8 KELAS V SDN LIDAH WETAN II SURABAYA

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V SDN Lidah Wetan II Surabaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick. Jenis penelitian yang yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, yang terdiri dari dua siklus .Setiap siklusnya meliputi , Perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan dan pengamatan serta refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, lembar aktivitas guru dan lember evaluasi. Hasil penelitian dibuktikan dengan presentase yang diperoleh aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh presentase 79% dan pada siklus II 87,5%. Kemudian aktivitas guru pada siklus I memperoleh presentase 87,8% dan siklus II 95%. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I memperoleh presentase 72% dan pada siklus II 86%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V SDN Lidah Wetan II Surabaya.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low level of student learning outcomes in subjects with social studies class V SDN Tongue Wetan II Surabaya . The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of learning by applying the cooperative learning model talking stick type. The type of research used in this study is classroom action research, which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes, planning, implementing actions and observations and reflections. The instruments used were observation sheets of student activities, teacher activity sheets and evaluation dates. The results of the study were evidenced by the percentage obtained by student activities in the first cycle obtained a percentage of 79% and in the second cycle 87.5%. Then the activity of teachers in the first cycle obtained a percentage of 87.8% and cycle II 95%. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained a percentage of 72% and 86% in the second cycle. It can be concluded that the cooperative learning model type talking stick can improve student learning outcomes in social studies class V SDN Lidah Wetan II Surabaya.
