Berdasarkan wawancara yang dilakukan dengan pihak SDN Lidah Wetan II Surabaya, diperoleh informasi bahwa pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV belum efektif dan efisien. Hal tersebut dikarenakan guru menuntut siswa untuk menghafal konsep sedangkan dalam penyampaian materi guru hanya menggunakan metode ceramah tanpa memberikan variasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran scramble terhadap hasil belajar IPS kelas IV SDN Lidah Wetan II Surabaya. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperiment dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebesar 85,90 sedangkan rata-rata kelas kontrol hanya mencapai 73,59. Dari pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus t-test diperoleh thitung sebesar 2,23 dengan ttabel pada taraf signifikasi 5% sebesar 2,021 yang berarti thitung > ttabel Ha diterima. Dan pada uji N-Gain ternormalisasi pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh hasil N-Gain >0,70 sebesar 1,215978 yang berarti berpengaruh kategori tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran scramble terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV dengan kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Based on interviews conducted with the Lidah Wetan II Elementary School in Surabaya, information was obtained that social studies learning in class IV had not been effective and efficient. This is because the teacher requires students to understand the concepts in the presentation of the material the teacher only uses the lecture method without giving variation. The purpose of this research is to find the effect of scramble learning model on social studies learning outcomes in class IV Lidah Wetan II Elementary School in Surabaya. The research design used was the Quasi Experiment with the Nonquivalent Control Group design. Based on data analysis that has been done, the average experimental class learning outcomes are 85.90 while the control class average only reaches 73.59. From testing the hypothesis using the t-test formula obtained tcount of 2.23 with ttable at the 5% significance level of 2.021 which means that tcount > ttable Ha is accepted. And the normalized N-Gain test in the experiment class, the results of N-Gain> 0.70 at 1.215978 which means that the high category effect. It can be concluded that there is an effect of scramble learning model on the learning outcomes of social studies class IV students in high category.
