Penerapan Metode Treasure Hunt Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dengan 2 siklus dan bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar IPS siswa dengan diterapkannya metode Treasure Hunt. Subjek penelitian 24 siswa kelas IV SDN Cengkok Tarokan Kediri. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah aktivitas guru pada siklus I mendapatkan skor 73,75% sedangkan dan 90,625% pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh presentase sebesar 74% dan pada siklus II sebesar 92%. Pada hasil belajar IPS siswa, siswa yang tuntas belajar sebelum dilakukan tindakan sebesar 58%, setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I siswa yang tuntas belajar sebesar 70,83% dan pada siklus II sebesar 83,33%. Dari data yang diperoleh tersebut, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa metode Treasure Hunt dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: Metode Treasure Hunt, IPS, Kerajaan di Indonesia

This classroom action research conducted with 2 cycles, aim to describe the increase in teacher and student activities, also student’s social studies learning outcomes by applying the Treasure Hunt method in fourth grade SDN Cengkok Tarokan Kediri . The results of the research are the activities of teachers in the first cycle getting a score of 73.75%, while the second cycle scores 90.625%. The students activites in the first cycle scores 74% and 92% in the second cycle. In the student’s social studies learning outcomes, students who achieve learning standart before this research were 58%, in the first cycle increases up to 70.83% and 83.33% on second cycle. So, the Treasure Hunt method can improve student learning outcomes.
