Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan, mengetahui kualitas produk yang meliputi kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan media ular tangga modifikasi beri jawaban padaku untuk keterampilan membaca cerita fiksi siswa kelas IV SD di Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan teknik analisis data berupa validasi, angket, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengembangan meliputi tahap analyze, developt, design, implement, evaluate. Kevalidan media mendapat persentase 100% (sangat valid) dan materi mendapat persentase 77,5% (valid). Kepraktisan media berdasarkan perolehan respon siswa melalui angket 96% (sangat praktis). Keefektifan media berdasarkan hasil pretest dan postest pada uji kelompok kecil yaitu (5%=2,262 < th = 4,472) menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Uji coba lapangan dengan hasil (5%=2,063 < th = 5,486) menunjukkan hasil peningkatan yang signifikan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the development process, knowing the quality of the product which includes validity, practicality and effectiveness of the snake ladder modification media gives me the answer for reading fiction skills of fourth grade students in elementary school in Sidoarjo. This study uses the ADDIE model with data analysis techniques in the form of validation, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the study indicate that the development process includes the analyze, developt, design, implement, evaluate stages. The validity of the media gets a percentage of 100% (very valid) and the material gets a percentage of 77.5% (valid). The practicality of the media is based on the students response through a 96% questionnaire (very practical). The effectiveness of the media based on the results of the pretest and posttest in the small group test, namely (5% = 2.262 <th = 4.472) showed a significant increase. Field trials with results (5% = 2.063 <th = 5.486) showed the results of a significant increase.
