PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN PROBING-PROMPTING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENULIS EKSPOSISI SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh metode pembelajaran probing-prompting terhadap keterampilan menulis eksposisi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Ponorogo. Jenis penelitian menggunakan eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Ponorogo. Adapun sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Tonatan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Bangunsari sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil uji hipotesis pretest-posttest kelas eksperimen dan kontrol menunjukkan bahwa (2, 25) > (2, 00172). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima yang artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan metode pembelajaran probing-prompting terhadap keterampilan menulis eksposisi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Ponorogo.

Abstract

The reseach was done to determine the influence of probing-prompting learning method in exposition writing skills for fourth grade students in SDN of Ponorogo. This type of research uses quasi-experiment. The populationsare fourth grade students in SDN of Ponorogo District. The samples are fourth grade students at SDN 2 Tonatan as experimental class and SDN I Bangunsari as control class. The results of the pretest-posttest hypothesis test experimental and control class showed that (2, 25) > (2, 00172). Based on the results, it can be concluded that alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted which means that there is significant influence of probing-prompting learning method in exposition writing skills for fourth grade students inSDN of Ponorogo.
