PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA BIG BOOK WRITING UNTUK KETERAMPILAN MENULIS RINGKASAN SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan serta mengetahui kualitas produk yang meliputi kevalidan dan kepraktisan media Big Book Writing untuk keterampilan menulis ringkasan siswa kelas V sekolah dasar di Surabaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE terdiri atas lima tahapan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan validasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data diperoleh dari hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media serta hasil angket respon guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses pengembangan yang terdiri atas analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Hasil validasi materi diperoleh persentase sebesar 93,3% dan validasi media diperoleh persentase sebesar 95,7% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil angket guru diperoleh persentase sebesar 98,6% dan angket siswa diperoleh persentase sebesar 96,6% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Berdasarkan analisis data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat kualitas produk berupa kevalidan dan kepraktisan sehingga media Big Book Writing dapat digunakan untuk menulis ringkasan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the development process and knowing the quality of the product which includes the validity and practicality of Big Book Writing media for summary writing skills of fifth grade elementary school students in Surabaya. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with ADDIE model consisting of five stages. Data collection uses validation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were obtained from the results of the validation of material experts and media experts as well as the results of the questionnaire responses of teachers and students. The results showed that the development process consisted of analyzing, design, development, implementation, evaluation.. The results of material validation obtained a percentage of 93.3% and media validation obtained a percentage of 95.7% with very valid criteria. The results of the teacher questionnaire obtained a percentage of 98.6% and a student questionnaire obtained a percentage of 96.6% with very practical criteria. Based on the analysis of these data it can be concluded that there are quality products in the form of validity and practicality so that Big Book Writing media can be used to write summaries.
