Pengembangan Media Kartu Bergambar Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Penelitian mengembangkan media kartu bergambar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan desain, kepraktisan dan keefektivan dari media kartu bergambar pada materi keragaman budaya bangsa kelas IV Sekolah dasar. Metode yang diterapkan menggunakan R&D. Sasaran uji coba penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Wonoketro Ponorogo. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi, angket siswa, soal pre test dan post test. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil persentase skor kevalidan ahli media 1 sebesar 85,3%, hasil validasi ahli media 2 sebesar 84%, hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 92% dan hasil dari angket siswa sebesar 91% menunjukkan bahwa media kartu bergambar valid dan praktis digunakan. Untuk hasil presentase keefektivan media dari hasil soal pre test dan post test menggunakan rumus uji paired sample T-Test dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 20 diperoleh sig. (2-tailed) 0,01 < 0,05 menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang bermakna terhadap perlakuan yang diberikan pada masing-masing variabel.

The research developed picture card media to improve students' critical thinking skills, which aims to describe the design, practicality and effectiveness of picture card media in the fourth grade elementary school's cultural diversity material. The method applied is R&D. The target of the research trial was the fourth grade students of SDN 1 Wonoketro Ponorogo. The research instruments used were validation sheets, student questionnaires, pretest and posttest questions. The data analysis technique was carried out with qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive. The results of the percentage score of the validity of the media expert 1 are 85.3%, the validation results of the media expert 2 are 84%, the results of the material expert validation are 92% and the results of the student questionnaire are 91% indicating that the picture card media is valid and practical to use. For the results of the percentage of media effectiveness from the results of pre-test and post-test questions using the paired sample T-Test test formula with the help of the SPSS 20 application, sig. (2-tailed) 0.01 <0.05 indicates that there is a significant effect on the treatment given to each variable.
