PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA “BILLWAY” BERBASIS APLIKASI ANDROID MATERI OPERASI HITUNG BILANGAN BULAT PESERTA DIDIK KELAS III SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Penelitian ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai konsep operasi hitung bilangan bulat melalui media “Billway” berbasis aplikasi android. Pengembangan media ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Research and Development menggunakan model ADDIE dengan 5 langkah penelitian yakni analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Subjek uji coba ini adalah 10 siswa kelas III SDN Jumeneng. Uji validasi dilakukan oleh satu ahli materi, satu ahli media dan guru kelas selaku praktisi, hasil dari ahli materi untuk uji kevalidan materi sebesar 92,5% , media 92,5% dan validasi pretest-posttest 85% mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 90 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media “Billway” telah valid dengan kekurangan minor keefektifan kalimat, ilustrasi dan menyesuaian materi. Meskipun demikian peneliti tetap memasukkan saran dan masukan dari validator agar materi yang dihasilkan lebih berkualitas. Untuk mengukur kepraktisan media “Billway” memperoleh hasil kuesioner pengguna aplikasi sebesar 91%. Sedangkan uji keefektifan menggunakan uji paired sample t-test memperoleh 4.443 dengan probabilitas data Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,002 dengan adanya data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dengan penggunaan produk media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi android “Billway” layak untuk digunakan.

     This study is designed to increase understanding of the concept of integer arithmetic operations through the "Billway" media based on an android application. The development of this media aims to describe the validity, practicality and effectiveness. This research was conducted using the Research and Development method using the ADDIE model with 5 research steps namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this trial were 10 third grade students of SDN Jumeneng. The validation test was carried out by one material expert, one media expert and class teacher as a practitioner, the results from the material expert for the material validity test were 92.5%, the media was 92.5% and the pretest-posttest validation 85% got an average score of 90 so it can be concluded that the development of the "Billway" media has been valid with minor shortcomings in the effectiveness of sentences, illustrations and adapting the material. However, researchers still include suggestions and input from the validator so that the material produced is of higher quality. To measure the practicality of the "Billway" media, the results of the application user questionnaire were 91%. While the effectiveness test using the paired sample t-test obtained 4.443 with a Sig (2-tailed) data probability of 0.002 with the data showing that the use of learning media products based on the "Billway" android application is feasible to use.
