Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Aplikasi Android Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Organ Pencernaan Manusia Dan Hewan Di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar

Penelitian pengembangan ini dilaksanakan karena kurangnya aktivitas proses pembelajaran di kelas yaitu guru selalu menggunakan media berupa video yang hanya berisi penjelasan terkait materi saja, sehingga mengakibatkan siswa merasa bosan dan kurang memperhatikan penjelasan guru. Dari hal itu, perlunya dikembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif, salah satunya yaitu media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi android. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi android dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian R&D dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan tahapan: tahap analisis yaitu menganalisis kebutuhan siswa, materi, dan studi literatur. Tahap desain yaitu membuat perencanaan terkait media pembelajaran yang hasilnya berupa storyboard. Tahap pengembangan yaitu proses mengembangkan dan membuat media pembelajaran sesuai dari tahap desain, serta melakukan proses validasi kepada ahli. Tahap implementasi yaitu penerapan media pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan dan dinyatakan valid oleh validator. Tahap evaluasi yaitu mengolah hasil data implementasi. Hasil validasi media yang telah dilakukan memperoleh persentase 93,8% dan validasi materi memperoleh persentase 90% dengan kriteria “sangat valid”. Pada uji kepraktisan memperoleh persentase dari hasil angket respon siswa 91,2% dan angket respon guru 92,7%, serta penilaian observasi 94,4% dengan kriteria “sangat praktis”. Pada uji keefektifan memperoleh persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa 83,8% “sangat baik” dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa 0,65 dengan kriteria “sedang”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, peneliti mengetahui bagaimana keantusiasan dan hasil belajar siswa dalam menggunakan media yang dikembangkan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi android pada materi organ pencernaan manusia dan hewan layak digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This development research was carried out because of the lack of learning process activities in the classroom, namely the teacher always used media in the form of videos which only contained explanations related to the material, resulting in students feeling bored and paying little attention to the teacher's explanations. From this, it is necessary to develop interactive learning media, one of which is Android application-based learning media. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of learning media based on Android applications in improving student learning outcomes. This research is included in the type of R&D research using the ADDIE model with stages: the analysis stage, namely analyzing student needs, materials, and literature studies. The design stage is to make plans related to learning media, the results of which are storyboards. The development stage is the process of developing and making instructional media according to the design stage, as well as conducting the validation process to experts. The implementation stage is the application of learning media that has been developed and declared valid by the validator. The evaluation phase is processing the results of implementation data. The results of media validation that has been carried out obtain a percentage of 93.8% and material validation obtains a percentage of 90% with the criteria of "very valid". In the practicality test, the percentage obtained from the results of the student response questionnaire was 91.2% and the teacher's response questionnaire was 92.7%, and the observation assessment was 94.4% with the criteria "very practical". In the effectiveness test, the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes was 83.8% "very good" and an increase in student learning outcomes was 0.65 with "moderate" criteria. Based on the results of this study, researchers know how enthusiastic and student learning outcomes are in using the media that was developed, so it can be concluded that android application-based learning media on the digestive organs of humans and animals is appropriate for use in the learning activities of fifth grade elementary school students.
