Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan permainan tradisional engklek dengan pendekatan RME terhadap proses belajar Matematika siswa kelas IV yang mencakup ranah kognitif dan psikomotorik, serta mengetahui respon siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yakni quasi experimental dan desain nonequivalent control group test. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes, angket, dan observasi. Hasil dari uji t-test sample independent diperoleh nilai thitung pada ranah kognitif sebesar -2,037 dan ranah psikomotorik sebesar -2,511, serta presentase hasil angket respon siswa sebesar 80,89%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan permainan tradisional engklek dengan pendekatan RME terhadap proses belajar Matematika siswa yang mencakup hasil belajar ranah kognitif dan psikomotorik, serta didapatkan respon yang positif dari siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of engklek traditional games with the RME approach to the mathematics learning process of fourth grade students which includes the cognitive and psychomotor domains, and to determine student responses to the learning process. This study used an experimental method, namely quasi-experimental and nonequivalent control group test design. Data collection techniques used are test techniques, questionnaires, and observation. The results of the independent sample t-test obtained tcount values in the cognitive domain of -2.037 and the psychomotor domain of -2.511, as well as the percentage of student response questionnaire results of 80.89%. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that there was an influence of the application of the engklek traditional game with the RME approach to the students mathematics learning process which included learning outcomes in the cognitive and psychomotor domains, and obtained positive responses from students.
