PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA EXPLOSION POP UP BOX BERBASIS AUDIO MATERI PERJUANGAN MEMPERTAHANKAN KEMERDEKAAN INDONESIA PADA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Faktor dalam menentukan pendidikan berkualitas terletak pada proses pembelajaran yang diciptakan oleh guru. Pembelajaran IPS khususnya materi sejarah memerlukan strategi, metode, maupun media yang efektif sehingga pembelajaran dapat berjalan secara interaktif antara guru dan siswa. Adanya media pembelajaran akan lebih mendukung terlaksananya proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Prosedur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN 1 Ngadipiro Kabupaten Nganjuk dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Penelitian ini berfokus pada materi IPS perjuangan mempertahankan kemerdekaan Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan lembar validasi media dan materi, lembar angket respon siswa dan guru dengan menggunakan skala likert 1-5, serta lembar soal pretest dan postest. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif.

Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu produk media Explosion Pop Up Box berbasis audio yang layak digunakan dengan perolehan (1) hasil validasi media oleh ahli media memperoleh nilai akhir 98% dengan kategori "sangat layak" digunakan dalam pembelajaran tanpa revisi, validasi ahli materi memperoleh nilai 98,4% dengan kategori "sangat layak" digunakan, (2) hasil respon siswa mendapatkan nilai akhir sebesar 99% sementara respon guru mendapat nilai sebesar 95% dengan kategori "sangat menarik" digunakan dalam pembelajaran, (3) Hasil rata-rata dari nilai pretest dan postest siswa dari perhitungan N-gain yaitu sebesar 0,72 sementara itu ketuntasan klasikal siswa memperoleh presentase sebesar 90% dan hasil perhitungan uji-t berpasangan menunjukkan nilai signifikansi <0,05 sehinga, dengan demikian media dinyatakan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The factor in determining quality education lies in the learning process created by the teacher. Social studies learning, especially historical material, requires effective strategies, methods, and media so that learning can run interactively between teachers and students. The existence of learning media will better support the implementation of the learning process. This research uses the type of research and development (R&D). The procedure used in this study uses the ADDIE procedure which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The research was conducted at SDN 1 Ngadipiro, Nganjuk Regency, with 20 students in class V as the subject. This research focuses on Social Sciences material for the struggle to maintain Indonesian independence. Data collection techniques used media and material validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaire sheets using a likert scale of 1-5, as well as pretest and posttest question sheets. Data analysis used is using quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

The research results obtained were audio-based Explosion Pop Up Box media products that were feasible to use with the acquisition of (1) the results of media validation by media experts obtained a final score of 98% with the "very feasible" category used in learning without revision, material expert validation obtained a value of 98 .4% with the "very appropriate" category is used, (2) the results of student responses get a final score of 99% while the teacher's response gets a score of 95% with the "very interesting" category used in learning, (3) The average result of the grade The student's pretest and posttest from the N-gain calculation is equal to 0.72 while students' classical completeness obtains a percentage of 90% and the results of the paired t-test calculation show a significance value of <0.05 so that, thus the media is declared to be effectively used in learning.
