PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA FLIPBOOK “SI PENIA” BERBASIS ANDROID MATERI SISTEM PERNAPASAN MANUSIA PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA UNTUK KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian pengembangan ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran oleh guru yang berdampak pada rendahnya motivasi serta hasil belajar IPA siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan pengembangan media flipbook “Si Penia” berbasis android yang teruji kevalidan, kepraktisan, serta keefektifannya dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Prosedur penelitian didasarkan pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi 5 tahapan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pengimplementasian media dilakukan dengan subjek utama 30 siswa kelas V SDN Sumberejo II Surabaya. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri atas lembar validasi, lembar angket respon serta lembar soal pretest dan posttest. Kegiatan validasi memperoleh persentase validasi media flipbook “Si Penia” berbasis android sebesar 90,66% dan validasi materi mencapai persentase 87,69% yang keduanya tergolong kategori “Sangat Valid.” Kepraktisan media flipbook “Si Penia” berbasis android mendapat hasil persentase respon siswa 93,2% dan respon guru mencapai 91,42% yang keduanya tergolong kategori “Sangat Praktis.” Terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal mencapai 93,33% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan perhitungan hasil skor N-Gain sebesar 0,737 dengan kriteria “Tinggi.” Berdasarkan data tersebut, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa media flipbook “Si Penia” berbasis android materi sistem pernapasan manusia ini telah valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPA pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia kelas V sekolah dasar.

This development research was motivated by the lack of use of learning media by teachers, which had an impact on low motivation and student learning outcomes in science. This research aims to produce the development of the Android-based flipbook media "Si Penia" which has been tested for its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving science learning outcomes on the human respiratory system. The research procedure is based on the ADDIE development model which includes 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Media implementation was carried out with the main subject being 30 grade V students at SDN Sumberejo II Surabaya. The research instruments used consisted of validation sheets, response questionnaire sheets, and pretest and posttest question sheets. The validation activity obtained a validation percentage of the Android-based "Si Penia" flipbook media of 90.66% and material validation reached a percentage of 87.69%, both of which were classified as "Very Valid" category. The practicality of the Android-based "Si Penia" flipbook media obtained a student response percentage of 93.2% and the teacher's response reached 91.42%, both of which were classified as the "Very Practical" category. There was an increase in student learning outcomes, with the percentage of classical learning mastery reaching 93.33% with very good criteria and the N-Gain score calculation was 0.737 with "High" criteria. Based on these data, it was concluded that the Android-based "Si Penia" flipbook media material on the human respiratory system was valid, practical, and effective as a science learning media on the material on the human respiratory system for grade V elementary schools.
