Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan Media Diorama Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Kelas IV SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning berbantuan media diorama terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi siklus hidup hewan kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis quasi experimental dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas IV SDN Gugus III Kecamatan Mojoagung Kabupaten Jombang berjumlah 238 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Johowinong 1 dan kelas IV SDN Karobelah masing-masing berjumlah 38 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes. Hasil keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menunjukkan kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata persentase aktivitas guru 88,1% dan aktivitas siswa 90,6%. Hasil uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 3,218 > 1,991 dan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) 0,002 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Nilai rata-rata N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen 0,70 kategori tinggi dan kelas kontrol 0,47 kategori sedang. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model problem based learning berbantuan media diorama terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi siklus hidup hewan kelas IV sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning and determine the effect of a problem based learning model assisted by diorama media on science learning outcomes on animal life cycle material in IV grade at elementary school. This research used a quantitative method of quasi experimental type with a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was all fourth-grade students of SDN Gugus III Mojoagung Subdistrict, Jombang Regency, totaling 238 students. The samples of this study were all fourth-grade students of SDN Johowinong 1 and fourth-grade students of SDN Karobelah, each totaling 38 students. Data collection techniques used observation and tests. The results of learning implementation showed an outstanding category with an average percentage of teacher activity of 88.1% and student activity of 90.6%. The results of the independent sample t-test test showed the value of tcount > ttable, namely 3.218 > 1.991 and the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.002 < 0.05 so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The average score of N-Gain in the experimental class was 0.70 in the high category and the control class was 0.47 in the moderate category. It can be concluded that there is a effect on the  problem based learning models assisted by diorama media on science learning outcomes of animal life cycle material in IV grade at elementary school.
