PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PUZZLE PECAHAN PADA PENJUMLAHAN DAN PENGURANGAN PECAHAN BERPENYEBUT SAMA KELAS 3 SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

The first objective in this research and development is to explain the process of developing fraction puzzle media for addition and subtraction of fractions with the same denominator. Second, to determine the quality of the media based on the feasibility of the effectiveness and practicality of the media. This type of research is research and development with the ADDIE development model. The results showed that in the development process, researchers decided to choose fraction puzzle media because this media is one of the right media to be applied to the material of addition and subtraction of fractions with the same denominator. In addition, puzzle media is very relevant to be applied to elementary school students who have the characteristics of concrete cognitive development. In the feasibility aspect, the fraction puzzle media can be said to be feasible to use with a feasibility value of 72 for material feasibility at 89 media feasibility. While on the value of the effectiveness of the media, the puzzle media developed is effective. This can be seen in the average value of completeness of 83 with a difference in the previous value of 14 with an average value of 69. the percentage of students who completed the material also increased significantly, namely from 46% to 89% of students who passed. In the aspect of practicality, the puzzle media also got a good score.
