DEVELOPMENT OF KEKAL MEDIA BASED ON ARTICULATE STORYLINES IN LEARNING IPS MATERIALS OF NATURAL APPEARANCE IN INDONESIA FOR CLASS V ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Abstract
This development research is motivated by the gap between actual conditions and ideal conditions that occur in schools. This gap is the lack of use of learning media that integrates communication technology to optimize the quality of learning in schools, especially in social studies learning. The purpose of this development research is to describe the development process and the feasibility of kekal media which includes validation tests of material experts, media experts and user trials consisting of students and class teachers. This study uses research and development (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages of development which include analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Based on the validation results by material experts, it can be seen that the average rating results show a percentage of 82,6% while the results of validation by media experts get a percentage of 81.3%. Furthermore, the results of user response questionnaires by students obtained a percentage of 89% and user questionnaires by teachers obtained a percentage of 92%. Thus kekal media can be declared as learning media that are appropriate for use in social studies learning natural appearance material in grade V elementary school.
