Pengembangan Media Catatan Harian Bergambar untuk Keterampilan Menulis Teks Pendek Siswa Kelas II Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media catatan harian bergambar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk keterampilan menulis teks pendek siswa kelas II SD. Metode penelitian ADDIE terdiri dari lima tahap: analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Uji coba dilakukan dengan 10 siswa skala kecil dan 23 siswa skala besar. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar tes, angket respon guru dan siswa yang diolah dengan teknik analisis kevalidan, keefektifan dan kepraktisan. Hasil validasi materi 87% dan validasi media i 97% sangat valid. N Gain pada uji coba skala kecil adalah 0,8 dan skala besar adalah 0,7. Keefektifan berdasarkan angket guru diperoleh 87%, sedangkan persentase angket siswa 88,5% sangat efektif. Angket respon siswa diperoleh rata-rata 91,5%, angket respon guru mencapai 100% sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan angket yang tinggi, disimpulkan bahwa media catatan harian bergambar sangat valid, efektif, dan praktis untuk pembelajaran menulis teks pendek siswa kelas II SD.

This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective illustrated diary media for writing skills of short texts for second grade elementary school students. The ADDIE research method consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The trial was conducted with 10 small scale students and 23 large scale students. The instruments used were test sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires which were processed using validity, effectiveness and practicality analysis techniques. The results of 87% material validation and 97% media validation are very valid. N Gain on small scale trials is 0.8 and large scale is 0.7. Effectiveness based on the teacher's questionnaire was obtained 87%, while the percentage of the student questionnaire was 88.5% very effective. Student response questionnaires obtained an average of 91.5%, teacher response questionnaires reached 100% very practical. Based on the high validation and questionnaire results, it was concluded that the pictorial diary media was very valid, effective, and practical for learning to write short texts for second grade elementary school students.
