Abstract

Students' reading aloud skills are still relatively low, one of the reasons is that students are less enthusiastic when learning to read because the teacher does not use the media. These skills must be improved through the process of training in learning, so the teacher must assist students in developing reading skills through appropriate learning media. The purpose of this research is to produce valid, practical, and effective media. The method used is ADDIE model development research. The results obtained were 90% media validity, 82.5% language, and 90% material, all in the "very valid" category. The results of the teacher questionnaire were 90% and students 86.6%, all in the "very practical" category. The result of the N-Gain value is 0.85 in the "high" category. Fable scrapbook media is suitable for use in learning based on these results.
