PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PADANG (PAPAN DIAGRAM BATANG) PADA MATERI PENYAJIAN DATA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Education is an important process of human life to be used as a foundation for life. In an effort to achieve maximum learning outcomes, it is necessary to improve the quality of student learning, one of which is the use of learning media. In an effort to improve the quality of student learning in Mathematics learning in Grade IV SD Negeri Samberan, researchers developed PADANG learning media (Bar Diagram Board). The purpose of this study is to describe the PADANG learning media developed by researchers. PADANG learning media developed in the form of diagram boards. The "PADANG" media development process uses the ADDIE model which consists of Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The next purpose of this study is to describe the level of feasibility of learning media which includes validity, practicality, and level of effectiveness. The validity rate is calculated from the results of media validation of 89.285%, material validation of 81.25%, validation of questionnaire sheets of 93.18%, and validation of pretest and postest questions of 95%. The level of practicality of the media was calculated from the student response questionnaire with a result of 94.656%. The level of media effectiveness is measured based on the results of pretest and postest done by students and measured by  the N-Gain formula  with results of 0.775 or in the high category.
