Abstract
Deficiencies in students' creative thinking skills and practices that direct students' creativity in the learning process are problems that need to be studied. This research aims to determine the improvement of creative thinking skills through the implementation of project based learning for fifth-grade elementary school students. The type of research used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research design or Quasi- Experimental Design in the form of a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The research instrument used learning implementation questionnaire sheets and creative thinking tests. Data were analyzed using instrument analysis techniques and data analysis techniques. The locations of this research are SDN Ledok Kulon 1 and SDN Banjarejo II with class V subjects with a total sample size of 51. The results of this research show that there has been an increase in creative thinking skills through Project Based Learning as indicated by the results of the N-gain Hypothesis test of t_count > t_tabel (11.559 > 2.009) and a significance value (sig.) of 0.000 < 0.05. It can be understood that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected so that there is a high increase in creative thinking skills in the implementation of electrical energy material for class V students at SDN Ledok Kulon 1 Bojonegoro.
