PENGEMBANGAN DISOL-AR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISTEM TATA SURYA KELAS VI SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
Sixth-grade students at SDN Lidah Kulon IV/467 Surabaya face difficulties in understanding the Solar System material, as reflected by their average score of 77, slightly above the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) set at 75. These difficulties arise from the teacher's limitations in presenting celestial objects directly and the broad scope of the material that needs to be covered. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness, validity, and practicality of an interactive learning media based on Augmented Reality called DISOL-AR (Interactive Solar System Augmented Reality Media) for the Solar System material. The research follows the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The trial involved 59 sixth-grade students at SDN Lidah Kulon IV/467, with 30 students in the experimental class and 29 students in the control class. The results showed that DISOL-AR is valid, with media validity reaching 90% and material validity at 92.5%, categorized as "valid" (81%-100%). In terms of practicality, the media received excellent feedback, with the implementation percentage reaching 90.07%. Furthermore, DISOL-AR was proven to be effective, with a learning mastery rate of 91%, classified as "Highly Effective." Statistical testing using the independent sample t-test showed a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect of DISOL-AR on students' learning outcomes. Therefore, DISOL-AR has been proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving sixth-grade students' understanding of the Solar System material, and it is expected to assist teachers in presenting complex material more interactively.
