Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a valid, practical, and effective fable e-book media to improve writing skills in learning Indonesian language in grade V elementary school. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Based on the development that has been carried out, the results obtained from the feasibility of the media received a percentage of 90% with very valid criteria. Feasibility in the material aspect gets a percentage of 91.66% with very valid criteria. The user trial obtained that students gave a response of 96.4% with a very practical category, while the teacher gave a response of 85% with a very practical category. Then for the effectiveness of getting N-Gain of 0.7 with a very high category and the Wilcoxon test which obtained a value of < 0,01 which means that there is a difference between the pre-test and post-test learning outcomes on the use of E-book media fables significantly.
