Pengembangan game edukasi digital ecosystem explorer berbasis deep learning Pada materi ekosistem untuk siswa sekolah Dasar
Abstract
Pembelajaran IPA materi ekosistem di sekolah dasar masih didominasi oleh metode ceramah, sehingga pembelajaran cenderung berorientasi pada hafalan, kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif, serta menyulitkan siswa dalam mengaitkan antarkonsep ekosistem dan menganalisis hubungan sebab-akibat dalam konteks kehidupan nyata. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan perlunya media pembelajaran inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan game edukasi digital Ecosystem Explorer berbasis deep learning pada materi ekosistem untuk siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode research and development dengan model ADDIE. Game dikembangkan dengan mengintegrasikan prinsip mindful, meaningful, dan joyful learning melalui aktivitas eksplorasi, simulasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game Ecosystem Explorer dinyatakan valid oleh ahli media dan ahli materi serta memperoleh respon positif dari guru dan siswa. Dengan demikian, game edukasi digital Ecosystem Explorer berbasis deep learning layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif pada pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar.
Learning IPA ecosystem material in elementary school is still dominated by the lecture method, so that learning tends to be oriented towards memorization, less actively involving students, and making it difficult for students to associate ecosystem concepts and analyze cause-and-effect relationships in a real-life context. This condition shows the need for innovative learning media. This research aims to develop a digital education game Ecosystem Explorer based on deep learning on ecosystem materials for elementary school class V students. Research using the research and development method with the ADDIE model. The game is developed by integrating the principles of mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning through exploration, simulation, and reflection activities. The research results show that the Ecosystem Explorer game was declared valid by media experts and material experts and received a positive response from teachers and students. Thus, the digital education game Ecosystem Explorer based on deep learning is suitable for use as an innovative learning medium in IPA learning in elementary school.
