Plagiarisme Screening
Jurnal Tata Rias is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity. To ensure the originality of all submitted manuscripts, the journal applies a strict plagiarism screening policy as part of the editorial and review process.
1. Screening Process
Every manuscript submitted to Jurnal Tatarias will be checked for plagiarism using reliable plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) before entering the peer-review stage.
2. Similarity Threshold

A manuscript will be rejected immediately if the overall similarity index exceeds 20%, excluding properly cited quotations, references, and methodological terms.

Any instance of plagiarism in the form of copy-paste, patchwork writing, or unattributed paraphrasing will be considered unethical and unacceptable.

If minor similarities are found (below 20%), authors will be asked to revise the manuscript to ensure proper citation and originality.
3. Author Responsibility
Authors are fully responsible for the content of their manuscripts and must ensure that:

All sources are properly cited and referenced.

The manuscript is free from plagiarism or self-plagiarism.

Previously published material is not reused without permission.
4. Consequences of Plagiarism
If plagiarism is detected at any stage (before or after publication), the editorial board has the right to:
