KETERAMPILAN APLIKASI TATA RIAS WAJAH KOREKSI MATA BAGI MAHASISWA BARU PENDIDIKAN TATA RIAS

Abstrak: Mahasiswa Baru Pendidikan Tata Rias merupakan mahasiswa angkatan baru yang sebagian besar belum begitu menguasai keterampilan aplikasi tata rias wajah koreksi mata. Hal tersebut menjadi alasan peneliti untuk menerapkan pelatihan keterampilan aplikasi tata rias wajah koreksi mata. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian adalah: (1). untuk mengetahui aktivitas pelatih, (2). untuk mengetahui aktivitas peserta, (3). untuk mengetahui keterampilan merias sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest), (4). dan untuk mengetahui respon peserta. Jenis penelitian adalah pre eksperimen, menggunakan desain penelitian Pre test and Post test Group. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa baru S1 Pendidikan Tata Rias angkatan 2014 Unesa yang berjumlah 52 peserta. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket dan tes kinerja dengan melibatkan 5 observer. Aktivitas pelatih keterampilan aplikasi tata rias wajah koreksi mata 3-4 kriteria baik – sangat baik. Aktivitas peserta keterampilan aplikasi tata rias wajah koreksi mata (80%-100%) kriteria baik-sangat baik. Hasil pretest 1,93 dan posttest 3,04 nilai statistik uji t sebesar 25.119, dengan signifikansi 0,000, ada peningkatan keterampilan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pelatihan tata rias wajah koreksi mata. Respon peserta menyatakan (100%) peserta tertarik dan bersemangat, hand out membantu memahami materi, dan bermanfaat.

Abstract: The fresh college student of Cosmetology Education are new class which largely of them mastering yet skill of eyes correction make up application. It was being reason for researcher to implements training of eyes correction make up application skill. While the aims of this research are: (1) to know training activity, (2) to know trainee activity, (3) to know skill application of make up before (pretest) and after (posttest), (4) and to know trainee response. Research type was pre experimental, using research design Pre test and Post test group. Research subject were fresh college student of S1 Cosmetology Education year academic 2014 State University of Surabaya as many as 52 trainees. Data collection method used observation, questionnaire, and performance test which involving 5 observers. Research data analysis of training was using mean, trainee activity and trainee response using percentage, result of before and after training using t-test with significance 5% . The training activity of eyes correction make up skill training obtained 3-4 criteria good – excellent. Trainee activity of eyes correction make up skill training obtained (80%-100%) criteria good – excellent. Pretest result 1.93 and posttest 3.04, statistical value of t-test was 25.119, with significance 0.000, achieved improvement on skill trainee of eyes correction make up before and after conducting training. Trainee response was (100%) trainee interested and excited, hand out can help understand theory, and useful.
