PENGARUH SUHU AIR TERHADAP HASIL JADI WATER MARBLE NAIL ART

Abstract

Abstrak

Kuku adalah lapisan tanduk pada ujung jari yang dapat diperindah dengan cara diwarnai dan dihias. Cara mewarnai dan menghias kuku dapat dilakukan dengan nail art. Nail art adalah seni menghias kuku menggunakan pewarna sintetis dan bahan penghias kuku berupa gliter, permata, stiker, dan lain sebagainya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui hasil jadi water marble nail art dengan menggunakan air bersuhu 20-30°C, untuk mengetahui hasil jadi water marble nail art dengan menggunakan air bersuhu 10-20°C, untuk mengetahui hasil jadi water marble nail art dengan menggunakan air bersuhu 5-10°C, dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu air terhadap hasil jadi water marble nail art. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian eksperimen sungguhan (True Experimental Design). Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah suhu air yang dunakan, variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil jadi nail art. Tempat dan waktu eksperimen dilakukan di Laboratorium Tata Rias, jurusan PKK, Uneversitas Negeri Surabaya pada bulan September 2015. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu Observasi.  Dari eksperimen ini didapat kesimpulan bahwa suhu air dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil jadi water marble nail art dilihat dari kerataan, tekstur, warna, dan tingkat kesukaan. Menurut hasil pengamatan suhu air tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil jadi water marble nail art dilihat dari kerapian hasil jadi. Hasil jadi water marble nail art yang paling disukai oleh observer adalah hasil jadi dari suhu air 10-20°C.

Abstract

Nail is a horn-like layer on the tips of fingers which may beautify by colored and decorated. The way to colors and decorates nail may conducted with nail art. Nail art is an art of decorating nail by using synthetic dye and nail decorating material in form of glitter, jewels, sticker, and many other. The aim of this research are to know the outcome of water marble nail art by using water temperature 20-30^oC, to know the outcome of water marble nail art by using water temperature 10-20^oC, to know the outcome of water marble nail art by using water temperature 5-10^oC, and to know the effect of water temperature on the outcome of water marble nail art. Type of this research include in true experimental design. The independent variable in this research is temperatur of water used, the dependent variable is the outcome of nail art. Time and place of experiment conducted in Cosmetology Laboratory, Home Economics Department, State University of Surabaya along  September 2015. Data collection method used was observation. From the this experiment could be conclused that water temperature gives effect on the outcome of water marble nail art viewed from evenness, texture, color, and preference level. Based on observation result, water temperature was not affected on the outcome of water marble nail art viewed from neatness of the outcome. The most prefered outcome of water marble nail art by observers was result of water temperature 10-20^oC.
