PERBANDINGAN HASIL MAKE-UP KARAKTER EFEK LUKA BAKAR DI TANGAN MENGGUNAKAN BAHAN UTAMA LATEKS CAIR DAN GELATIN GEL

Abstract

Abstrak: Tata rias karakter cenderung bersifat dekoratif dan medianya tidak terbatas pada area wajah, tetapi mencakup keseluruhan tampilan. Tata rias efek luka merupakan tata rias yang membentuk luka yang umumnya menggunakan bahan kosmetik lateks cair. Gelatin gel adalah suatu bahan yang dapat digunakan sebagai pembuatan efek luka bakar karena sebagian sifatnya terdapat kesamaan dengan lateks cair yaitu dapat berubah secara reversible dari bentuk gel, membengkak atau mengembang dalam air dan mengeras jika dibiarkan dalam suhu ruangan. Untuk itu gelatin gel dan lateks cair bisa digunakan untuk membuat efek luka bakar pada rias karakter. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1) untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil pembuatan efek luka bakar antara bahan kosmetik gelatin gel dengan latex cair pada pembuatan efek luka bakar ; 2) untuk mengetahui perbandingan respon terhadap hasil efek luka bakar antara bahan kosmetik gelatin gel dengan latex cair. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan variable bebas yaitu penggunaan bahan kosmetik gelatin gel dan latex cair., Variable terikat yaitu 1) hasil penerapan pembuatan efek luka bakar antara bahan kosmetik gelatin gel dengan latex cair dilihat dari proses pengaplikasian, kesesuaian dengan objek, efek penggunaan, efesiensi waktu pengerjaan, tingkat ketertarikan observer, dan 2) Respon terhadap hasil efek luka bakar yang meliputi warna, elastisitas,tekstur, daya tahan, daya lekat, kesesuaian dengan desain luka bakar, dan kilau hasil riasan.Variabel kontrol yaitu model, perias, waktu pengerjaan dan teknik pengerjaan. Uji perbandingan hasil penerapan antara gelatin gel dan lateks cair pada pembuatan efek luka bakar, dan respon terhadap hasil efek luka bakar dianalisis dengan menggunakan T-test independent dengan program SPSS. Hasil uji statistik T-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil pembuatan efek luka bakar antara menggunakan lateks cair dan gelatin gel. P = 0,000 dengan α = 0,05,(P < 0,05) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan antara menggunakan lateks cair dan gelatin gel

Abstract: Characters make up tend to be attractive and the media are not limited only on the face, but also the whole appearances. Scar effect makeup is a makeup which makes a scar that generally used liquid latex cosmetic ingredients. Gelatin gel is a material that can be used to make burned scar effects because it is quite similar with liquid latex that has reversible changes from gel into the solid one in a room temperature. Gelatin gel and liquid latex can be used to create the effect of burns on the character makeup. The purpose of this study are: 1) To compare the result of burned scar effects between using gelatin gel and liquid latex on burned scar effects production, 2) To compare the responses of the burned scar effects using gelatin gel and liquid latex. This research past tense experimental research with the independent variables; gelatin gel and liquid latex. Dependent variables are, 1) The result of burned scar effect productions using gelatin gel and liquid latex seen from the application process, object conformance, effect of use, time efficiency, processing time efficiency, observer interest levels, and 2) The responses to the result of burned scar effects that include color, texture, elasticity, durability, adhesiveness, burned scar design conformance, and luminosity of the makeup result. The control variables are model, makeup artist, processing time, and techniques that are used. The comparison test results between gelatin gel and liquid latex in burned scar effect productions and the responses of it will be analyzed using T-test independent with SPSS program. The result shows that there are differences on using gelatin gel and liquid latex on making burned scar effects. The independent level is 0,05 and the significance level is 0,000 the evident level that is used is 0,05 (5%),
