PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LANGSUNG PADA KOMPETENSI DASAR MANICURE DI SMK NEGERI 8 SURABAYA

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) keterlaksanaan sintaks pengelolaan model pembelajaran langsung pada kompetensi dasar manicure, 2) hasil belajar siswa, 3) aktivitas siswa selama proses belajar mengajar, 4) respon siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah dekspriptif kuantitatif. Proses pengambilan data diawali dengan pemberian pretest untuk mengidentifikasi hasil belajar siswa, kemudian pemberian perlakuan berupa kegiatan belajar mengajar menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung dan diakhiri pemberian posttest. SMK Negeri 8 Surabaya merupakan sekolah yang menerima siswa inklusif di kelas X, subjek penelitian sebanyak 4 siswa inklusif yang berada di 3 kelas kecantikan kulit. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Metode analisis data menggunakan nilai rerata untuk pengelolaan pembelajaran, hasil belajar siswa menggunakan nilai rerata sesuai dengan kriteria ketuntasan belajar, serta untuk aktivitas siswa dan respon siswa menggunakan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) keterlaksanaan sintaks model pembelajaran langsung mendapatkan nilai rerata sebesar 3,02 termasuk pada kategori baik. 2) hasil penilaian pembelajaran pada kompetensi manicure menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yakni untuk nilai rerata pretest 52,88 menjadi nilai rerata posttest 81,90 3) aktivitas siswa selama proses belajar mengajar mendapatkan 78% termasuk dalam kategori aktif. 4) respon siswa yang diperoleh sebesar 92% tergolong sangat positif.

Abstrak: This study aimed to find out 1) the implementation of syntax of direct instruction in manicure competence, 2) students’ learning outcome, 3) students’ activity in learning process, 4) students’ response. Data retrieval process that begins with the provision of pretest to identify student learning outcomes, then giving treatment in the form of teaching and learning activities using direct learning model and end with posttest. SMK Negeri 8 Surabaya is a school that accepts inclusive students in class X, the subject of research as many as 4 inclusive students who are in 3 classes of skin beauty. The data collection method used observation, test, and questionnaire. The data analysis used average value for learning process, students’ learning outcomes used average in accordance with the criteria of learning mastery, percentage for the students’ response dan students’ activity. The study showed that 1) the implementation of syntax reached the average of 3.02, categorized as ‘good’, 2) The result of the learning appraisal on the basic manicure competence for all students in prestest and posttest activities shows an increase that is for pretest value 52,88 and posttest value 81,90, 3) students’ activity in learning process reached 78% and well-categorized as ‘active’. 4) students’ response reached 92% and well-categorized as ‘completely positive’.
