PENERAPAN MODEL PENGAJARAN LANGSUNG SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI DASAR PERAWATAN KULIT WAJAH BERMASALAH DENGAN ALAT LISTRIK (Studi Pada Kelas XI Di SMK Negeri 2 Ponorogo)

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Mengetahui keterlaksanaan sintaks pengajaran langsung pada kompetensi melakukan perawatan kulit wajah bermasalah dengan alat listrik, 2) aktivitas siswa 3) kompetensi siswa. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian Classroom Action Research menggunakan 2 siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Tata Kecantikan Kulit SMK Negeri 2 Ponorogo sejumlah 24 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Terjadi peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II pada keterlaksanaan sintaks pengajaran langsung diperoleh rata-rata 3.2 menjadi 3.4 yang dikategorikan baik, aktivitas siswa diperoleh rata-rata persentase 87,5% menjadi 96,6% yang dikategorikan sangat baik, kompetensi siswa secara individual sebanyak 18 siswa memperoleh nilai ≥ 75, sedangkan 6 siswa memperoleh nilai ≤ 75, secara klasikal bahwa 75% siswa dinyatakan Tuntas, sedangkan pada siklus II secara individual seluruh siswa memperoleh nilai ≥ 75, secara klasikal sebesar 100% siswa dinyatakan Tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa terjadi peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II pada keterlaksanaan sintaks pengajaran langsung dari rata-rata 3.2 menjadi 3.4 dengan kategori baik, aktivitas siswa rata-rata 87,5% menjadi 96,6% dengan kategori sangat baik, kompetensi siswa secara klasikal dari 75% menjadi 100%.

Abstract: This study aims to: 1) Determine the successful syntax of direct teaching in the competence of troubled face-skin care using electric tool, 2) Analyze the students’ activities, 3) Analyze the students’ competence. This study was a classroom action research using 2 cycles. The subject of the study was the XI grade students of Beauty Skin Care in SMK Negeri 2 Ponorogo consisted of 24 students. The data were collected through observation and test. The result of the study showed that: the successful syntax of direct teaching in the first cycle collected average of 3.2, while in the second cycle collected average of 3.4 which was categorized as good. Students’ activities included six aspects which have average until 87.5% in the first cycle, while in the second cycle, the average of all activities reached up to 96.6% which categorized as very good. Students’ competence as an individual in the first cycle with 18 students collected score ≥ 75, meanwhile 6 students collected score ≤ 75, classically, it can be included that 75% of students was passed the standard, however in the second cycle individually all of the students collected score ≥ 75, classically it can be included that 100% of students was succeed. Based on the result of the study, there was an increasing from the first cycle to the second cycle in the syntax process of direct teaching from the average of 3.2 to 3.4 which categorized as good, the average of students’ activities increased from 87.5% to 96.6% which categorized as very good, classically students competence was raised from 75% to 100%.
