PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD TERHADAP KOMPETENSI SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENCUCIAN RAMBUT DI SMK NEGERI 3 BLITAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD merupakan model pembelajaran yang sederhana dan baik karena mudah dilaksanakan bagi guru yang baru  menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif dan memusatkan siswa dalam pembelajarannya. Hal tersebut menjadikan alasan peneliti untuk menerapkannya di SMK Negeri 3 Blitar yang metode pembelajarannya masih berpusat pada guru. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui 1) keterlaksanaan sintaks, 2) aktivitas siswa, 3) keterampilan sosial siswa, 4) kompetensi siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre experimental, dengan desain One group pretest posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas x tata kecantikan rambut 2 di SMK Negeri 3 Blitar sebanyak 32 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) rata-rata nilai keterlaksanaan sintaks pada kegiatan pendahuluan (4), kegiatan inti (3.9), dan penutup (4) dengan kategori sangat baik, 2) aktivitas siswa mencapai 90.62%-100% dengan kategori sangat baik, 3) keterampilan sosial siswa mencapai 93.75%-100% dengan kategori sangat baik, 4) kompetensi siswa pada ranah kognitif diperoleh rata-rata nilai pre-test (60.1) dan  rata-rata nilai post-test (79.3) berbeda secara signifikan probabilitas < 0.05 dengan uji t sebesar (11.469). Kompetensi siswa pada ranah psikomotorik diperoleh rata-rata nilai pre-test (60.2) dan post-test (80.9)  berbeda secara signifikan probabilitas < 0.05 dengan uji t sebesar  (19.460). Hal tersebut menunjukkan terdapat pngaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap kompetensi siswa.

Abstract: STAD type cooperative learning model is the simplest and the best learning method, because it is easy to be implemented for the teachers who implemented cooperative learning model and involved students centered. Those reasons that enconrage the reseacher to implement STAD type cooperative learning model in SMK 3 Blitar which is the learning model used there is still teacher centered. The objectives of this research are to know 1) the syntax feasibility of STAD type cooperative learning model, 2) students activity, 3) social skill of the students, 4) the students competency. The type of this reseach is pre-experiment with one group pretest posttest design. The subject of research is 32 sudents of x hairdressing. The method collecting data is observation and test. And using t-test for data analysis. The results of research shows that 1) syntax feasibility on introduction-main-and closing activity reached average value 4, 3.9, and 4 with the best evaluation category, 2) the students activity reached 90.62%-100% with the best category, 3) the students social skill reach 93.75%-100% with the best category, 4) the students competency on kognitive range got avarage with pre-test (60.1), post-test (79.3) it’s different by probability significant < 0.05 with t-test (11.469). The students competency on psychomotoric range got average with pretest (60.2), and post-test (80.9) it’s different by probability significant < 0.05 with t-test (19.460). Those showed there are influence of the implementation of STAD type cooperative learning model toward students competency.
