PENGARUH PENYULUHAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA BOOKLET TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PERILAKU MAHASISWI UNESA TENTANG KOSMETIK ILEGAL PEMUTIH WAJAH

Abstract

Abstrak: Kosmetik ilegal adalah kosmetik yang tidak mengikuti jalur perizinan dari pemerintah, penawaran harga yang relatif murah membuat konsumen remaja khususnya mahasiswi tertarik untuk menggunakaknya tanpa tahu bahaya yang akan dialami jika menggunakan kosmetik tersebut. Hal ini mendasari peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian dan penyuluhan pengetahuan dan perilaku mengenai kosmetik ilegal pemutih wajah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui pengaruh penigkatan pengetahuan dan tindakan mahasiswi UNESA dalam penggunaan kosmetik ilegal pemutih wajah. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah eksperimen, metode pengambilan data menggunakan tehnik kuisioner dengan 48 responden yang dipilih secara purposive sampling dilakukan di Kampus UNESA ketintang Surabaya, dalam pendekeatan jenis penelitian ini menggunakan  pretest-posttest  only control group desaign dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan paired sample t-test.  Hasil penelitian pretest menunjukan mean pengetahuan kelompok eksperimen sebesar 32,92, setelah penyuluhan meningkat sebesar 81,46, pada kelompok kontrol mean pretest yang didapat sebsesar 31,25 dan posttest sebesar 31,88. Sedangkan dalam tes tindakan mean kelompok eksperimen sebesar 49,17 setelah dilakukan penyuluhan meningkat sebesar 91,33, dari kelompok kontrol mean dari pretest tindakan sebesar 49,54 dan posttest tindakan kedua sebesar 53,50. Bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada kelompok eksperimen baik pada pengetahuan dan tindakan setelah diberikan penyuluhan menggunakan media booklet. Ini membuktikan apabila penyuluhan dengan menggunakan booklet mampu memperbaiki pengetahuan dan tindakan responden menjadi baik. Saran dari hasil penelitian adalah masyarakat perlu lebih berhati-hati dalam membeli dan memakai kosmetik pemutih wajah agar kesehatan diri tetap terjaga.

Abstract: Illegal cosmetics are cosmetics that do not follow the path of government licensing offers relatively low prices make consumers particularly teenage student interested in without knowing the dangers that would be experienced if the use of cosmetics . This underlies the researcher to conduct the research and extension knowledge and behaviors regarding illegal cosmetic facial bleach. The purpose of this research is the influence Knowing  UNESA student knowledge and action in an illegal cosmetic use facial bleach. Type of research is experimental, method of data collection using questioning techniques with 48 respondents selected by purposive sampling conducted in Campus UNESA Ketintang Surabaya, in this kind of research using a pretest-posttest only control group desaign with analysis techniques using paired sample t-tests.  The results of the study showed a mean pretest knowledge of the experimental group was 32.92 , an increase of 81.46 after counseling , the control group gained a mean pretest and posttest 31.25 at 31.88 . While the test measures the mean of the experimental group 49.17 after counseling increased by 91.33 , the mean of the control group from pretest and posttest measures 49.54 by the second act by 53.50 . That an increase in the experimental group on both knowledge and action are given counseling after using the booklet media . This proves the extension when using booklets able to improve the knowledge and actions of respondents to be good . Suggestions from the research is that people need to be more careful in buying and wearing face whitening cosmetics that personal health is maintained.
