PELATIHAN MERANGKAI SIMBOLIS UANG MAHAR PENGANTIN ADAT BALI BAGI IBU- IBU PKK KELURAHAN PENELEH KECAMATAN GENTENG SURABAYA

Abstract

Abstrak: Pelatihan diberikan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan sumber daya manusia. Salah satu pelatihan yang dapat diberikan yakni merangkai simbolis uang mahar  pengantin adat  Bali. Pembuatan mahar disini menggunakan replika uang kertas (bukan uang kertas asli), hanya sebagai simbol saja. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar tidak merusak  atau mengurangi nilai dan bahan mata uang sebenarnya sebab dalam merangkai uang mahar menggunakan berbagai cara dalam melipat, menggulung bahkan merekatkan dengan lem. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui. 1)aktivitas instruktur 2) aktivitas peserta pelatihan 3) hasil pelatihan 4) respon peserta pelatihan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimen desain, menggunakan desain “One  shot case study”. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni metode observasi, tes dan metode angket. Metode observasi digunakan untuk menilai aktivitas instruktur dan peserta pelatihan. Jumlah observer sebanyak empat orang terlatih yang terdiri dari satu dosen keterampilan dan satu anggota PKK dan dua mahasiswa tata rias 2009. Tes digunakan untuk menilai hasil pencapaian materi yang telah diajarkan oleh peneliti. Sedangkan angket digunakan untuk mengetahui respon peserta terhadap pelatihan. Adapun jumlah peserta pelatihan sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil pengambilan data diolah dengan menggunakan rata-rata dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh aktivitas instruktur dalam pelatihan terlaksana dengan baik, tepat dan sistematis, Aktivitas peserta juga memenuhi kriteria penilaian baik, yakni dilaksanakan dengan tepat dan sistematis. Hasil nilai dari ditinjau dari soal tes pilihan ganda dan pembuatan simbolis uang mahar  pengantin adat  Bali ditinjau dari aspek modifikasi tiap lipatan busana pengantin memenuhi kriteria sangat baik. Respon peserta terhadap pelatihan merangkai simbolis uang mahar  pengantin adat  Bali hampir semua jawaban positif, namun ada 8 aspek yang belum terpenuhi jawaban “ya” sempurna yakni aspek kemudahan dan  manfaat dalam mempraktekkan  materi, mampu mempraktekan  sendiri materi  yang  sudah diajarkan di rumah. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa materi yang diberikan cukup sulit bagi peserta namun setelah didemonstrasikan oleh instruktur peserta lebih memahami. Sedangkan tentang handout ditunjang dengan gambar namun ada beberapa peserta yang kurang belajar membaca handout. Selain itu materi pelatihan ini relatif baru dan menyenangkan bagi mereka maka perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut.

Abstract: The training is given to improve the human resource. One of the trainings is arrangging the money as the symbol of dowry for Balinese traditional bride. The arrangement of dowry meant here is by using the unreal money ince it is only the symbol..it is proposed not to break or decrease the value of the real money. It is because arrangging the money as the symbol of dowry need various ways to hold and stick the money with the glue. The purpose of the research are: 1)instructor activities, 2) participant activities, 3)training result, 4) participants response at the training. This research is a experiment design by using “One Shoot Case Study”. The data collecting methods used are obesrvation, test and questionaire. The observation is used to describe the instructors activities and participants activities. There are four observers. They are the lecturer, the member of PKK, two of students of make up 2009. The test is sued to get the material achieved and learnt. The questionaire is used to find the participants response for training. There are 30 participants of the training who also become the research subject. The data is analyzed by using average and percentage.  The results of the research shows that all instructors in the training activities in the trainings run well, appropriate and systematic. The Participants activities also meet the criteria of good. This conducted appropriately and systematically.  The results is based on a multiple-choice test questions and the making of money as the symbol of dowry for the traditional bride. The participants responses forthe training is positive. Unfortunately, there are 8 aspects which have not got “yes” as the answers. There are easiness and the advantage to practice the materials, enable to practice the materials learnt.it shows that that materials give is difficult enough for the participants. After it is demonstrated, the participants can understand more. The  handouts supported by picture,  but there are some participants who are lack of reading their handout. The materials of this training is relatively new and enjoyable for them and further it needs to be developep.
