PENGGUNAAN VIDEO YOUTUBE DEUTSCH MIT INAP – ESSEN UND TRINKEN SEBAGAI BAHAN AJAR TAMBAHAN KETERAMPILAN MENYIMAK KELAS XI SMA SEMESTER 2

Abstract

Listening skills are important basic skills in learning languages, especially foreign languages. This is in line with
the Journal Englisch – Didaktische Handreichung which states that listening skills have an important role as
much as 45% in Language life. With the development of internet technology, the use of YouTube videos Deutsch
mit Inap is an alternative that can be used in learning German listening skills. However, the content of Deutsch
mit Inap youtube videos cannot be said to be suitable as teaching materials because a teaching material requires
teaching material selection criteria and adjustments to the curriculum used. The formulation of the problem of
this writing is how the suitability of YouTube video Deutsch mit Inap as additional teaching materials listening
skills class XI semester 2 with curriculum 2013. This writing method is a descriptive qualitative method of
literature study type. The data source is on Deutsch mit Inap youtube channel with data in the form of vocabulary
videos and also speech related to Essen und Trinken theme and German syllabus Class XI semester 2 curriculum
2013. From the data obtained will be analyzed in accordance with the curriculum in 2013 and the criteria for
selection of teaching materials by Aunurrahman (2009 :79) . The purpose of this article is to describe the
suitability of Deutsch mit Inap tema Essen und Trinken videos as additional teaching materials for German
listening skills in Class XI semester 2. After the analysis, the results showed that the YouTube video Deutsch mit
Inap tema Essen und Trinken 83% in accordance with the curriculum 2013 and 75% in accordance with the
criteria of teaching materials from Aunurrahman. The Video is appropriate to use as a choice of additional
teaching materials listening skills class XI semester 2. The expected benefit in this writing is to be able to provide
educators with reference teaching materials according to the theme Essen und Trinken.
