ANALISIS KESESUAIAN ISI VIDEO GOETHE INSTITUT TEMA WOHNUNG SEBAGAI BAHAN AJAR KETERAMPILAN MENYIMAK KELAS XI SEMESTER 2

Abstract

Listening skill has an important role in early learning process, but currently learning listening skills is
still carried out using conventional methods. Youtube which media that can be accessed anywhere and anytime
is an innovation for teachers in creating effective learning activities to keeping up with the technological
developments. This thesis analyzes the contents of the videos on the Goethe Institut's Youtube channel as
teaching materials for listening to Wohnung's theme. The formulation of the problem of this thesis is how is the
suitability of the content of the Goethe Institute video on the theme of Wohnung as teaching material for
listening skills for class XI semester 2. Otherwise, the purpose of this research is to determine the suitability of
the video content for Goethe Institute on the theme of Wohnung as teaching material for listening skills for
class XI semester 2. This thesis uses qualitative methods. The data collection technique uses the note-taking
technique while for the data analysis technique uses the content analysis technique based on basic
competencies, indicators, and material in the 2013 curriculum. The results of the analysis show that the
percentage results are different for each video. Mein Weg nach Deutschland|Auf Wohnungsuche video has a
percentage of 98% and categorized as very suitable. Meanwhile, the Deutschlandlabor|Wohnen and
Typisch|Wohnungssuche videos were categorized suitable to the respective percentages of 78% and 80%.
These results indicate that the Wohnung theme videos on the Goethe Institute Youtube channel are suitable
with the 2013 curriculum and can be used as teaching materials for Wohnung theme listening skills for class
XI semester 2.
